WE LOVE WATER IN ALL ITS FORMS
Waves
Water waves are powerful stuff. The constant pounding of waves and the ebb and flow of tidal currents could generate more electricity than world consumption, if harnessed in the right way.
Ocean
The ocean produces over half of the world's oxygen and absorbs 50 times more carbon dioxide than our atmosphere. She is our most important eco system source and we should treat her really well.
Drops
Every drop of water can carry millions of bacteria and also fish eggs, baby crabs and plankton. Distributing life around our world while nursing hungry plants and dry soil in form of a good rain.
Lakes
1% of all water is fresh water in lakes and rivers, being crucial drinking water tanks for humans and animals. Gotta stop filling them with toxics and waste.
Ice
Ice is fresh drinking water on hold. White glaciers and polar ice is cooling down the atmosphere and helps reflecting heat from the sun away from our planet. We need to study it for so many good reasons.
Seas
In the Baltic Sea, water pollution from 80 million people and 66 rivers has led to dead sea bottom areas as large as Denmark. Development can be turned around, but we need more data to know how.
Clouds
Clouds carry water around, they reflect the sun's warm heat, they cool down the surface on land and water and in the form of steam we can create energy in big numbers and with efficient output.
Rivers
The10 largest rivers carry 90% of the plastic waste floating into our oceans and the marine food chain. Cleaning them helps, but we need to turn off the tap... by stopping the use of single-use plastics.

Citizen science: Ordinary people sharing their time to help collect and monitor observations on oceans, in nature and in society. A research method and experience, conducted to improve the capacity for scientific communities while increasing the understanding of science for all.
WE SEE WATERS BEING DISRESPECTED EVERYWHERE
The 2017 United Nations Clean Seas Campaign estimated that there are 51 trillion microplastic particles in the ocean today, 500 times more than the number of stars in our galaxy.
These sunscreen chemicals are toxic for the sea: Oxybenzone, Benzophenone-1, Benzophenone-8, OD-PABA, 4-Methylbenzylidene camphor, 3-Benzylidene camphor, nano-Titanium dioxide, nano-Zinc oxide, Octinoxate, Octocrylene
See that orange litte plastic string? Probably from lost fishing nets. Hundreds of thousands of marine animals get tangled in, suffocate, are strangled and die every year because we, the humans, can't handle our own waste.
You already know that you are the problem. Be a part of the solution instead by changing habits and behaviours – google "zero waste" and stop buying and using single-use plastics.
